"Katie Looking Down"
Charcoal and Compressed
Pastel on Paper with Inclusions
11 x 12"
I just LOVED doing this drawing with just the hint of color. Maybe will do more like that. And why did I ever use paper with inclusions? I don't know, but I'm a fool for paper of almost any kind. When I was lucky enough to attend the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia, I would sometimes stop at the art store on the way back home to check out their paper stock. They often had some papers that were apparently unloved by most artists on clearance and I ended up with it. Yay!
